Soraya of the Sow- Thirst for Blood

Happy late birthday

OMG this took me soooo long. An hour to sketch, 4 hours to paint it. I wanted to draw Wolrah but I couldn't fit him so definitely another time. I based Soraya's style off Asante's new designs of Soraya that she sent me via e-mail. I really really love how this turned out, I practiced hard on my shading. I still can't draw feet, tho, lol something I need to practice on. I really like my new style. My old one still looked a lot like Ed Edd n' Eddy and it has been hard for me to break away from that after drawing it for so long but I'm liking how my new style is looking less like EEnE and more like something I can call my own.

I'm not sure what the story behind this is but Soraya is always covered in blood and her pet pig, Etnad, always looks surprised, Asante's pretty hush-hush about her stories but one day I can't wait to read it. I guess the less I know the better, right?
